About the society - Activities
The activities of the Society will be of interest to all entomologists. They can be summarised as being:
- A series of Monthly Meetings usually held in St Albans on the first Wednesday of each month (except August and September)
- A series of international symposia held biennially
- An Annual National meeting
- Regional Meetings
- Special Interest Groups
- Publication of renowned journals
- Publication of "Handbooks for the Identification of British Insects"
- Continuing development of a world-renowned entomological library
- Support to overseas expeditions
- Publishing "Antenna", the Society's house journal
- Society News
