Fellows and Members in developing countries, as guided by the United Nations, Human Development Index (HDI), with Gross Income per Capita (GNI) below $10,725 p.a. are entitled to pay a reduced subscription to the Society. For 2011/12 this is £29.00. When applying for Fellowship/Membership from a country entitled to subscription discount application in writing must be made in writing to the Registrar.
Fellows and members in these countries are also eligible to apply to the Society for purchase of taxonomic texts under the Book Purchase Scheme. A downloadable form for this purpose is also provided below.
