DESCRIPTION:Sustainable Farming Special Interest Group (SIG)\n\n\n\nDate: Tuesday 14 July (10:00 – 16:00) \n\n\n\nVenue:  Rothamsted Research\, Harpenden \n\n\n\nTo celebrate the new expanded Sustainable Farming SIG\, this event brings together sustainable agriculture and forestry with pollination and parasitoids\, under the theme ‘co-benefits and trade-offs’. Join us to explore the different needs of insects in a productive landscape\, and how to apply entomology towards systems that work for both society and nature. \n\n\n\nLearn more about our Sustainable Farming Special Interest Group and the Convenors. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKeynote Speakers\n\n\n\nDr Jo Staley\, UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology \n\n\n\nFurther keynotes to be announced shortly… \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbstract submission\n\n\n\nWe are looking for abstract submissions for posters and 5-minute flash talks (3 minute talks and 2 minutes for Q&A) to align with the SIG theme. The deadline for abstract submission is 5pm on Friday 29th May.  \n\n\n\n\nSubmit your abstract\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\nNote: By registering for and attending this event\, you acknowledge that photographs and/or video recordings may be taken.
