Insects: Endosymbionts, Infection and Immunity
A two day meeting of the Royal Enotmological Society special interest groups
24 September = Endosymbionts
25 September = Infection and Immunity
Venue: Emmanuel College, Cambridge
The intimate relationship between endosymbionts and their hosts is often modulated by the immune system. This fact is the motivational force to organise a joint meeting from two Royal Entomological Society special interest groups: Endosymbionts and Infection & Immunity. The aim is to promote the exchange of ideas and collaborations by bringing together participants from a range of backgrounds, including evolutionary ecology, physiology, vector biology and functional genetics
