2020 AGM registration open
The Annual General Meeting for 2019/20 was postponed due to Covid-19 and will take place on Wednesday 3rd March at 14:00 GMT.
The Royal Entomological Society Council would like to warmly welcome all Members and Fellows to attend before our prestigious Verrall Lecture, the AGM will take place on zoom.
Please register in advance with the webform, the Society will verify your Membership status and you will receive a zoom meeting joining link in due course.
At the Special Membership Meeting back in October, Professor Helen Roy explained that Council is working on updating the bye-laws to create a modern, open Society. Helen is delighted that the Society now has a Membership Focus Group, specialising in bye-law changes. This Group is formed from volunteers from the Membership, and covers a range of backgrounds, career stages and geography. Their feedback has been invaluable so far. Council is likely to ask the Membership to agree a full overhaul of the bye-laws at the 2021 AGM in the summer. There may be a few minor but essential changes to discuss at the delayed 2020 AGM in March.
If you also wish to attend the Verrall lecture on the same afternoon, please register for that event separately.
