Roger Laurence Blackman, British biologist, researcher, author, biologist, scientific associate of the Natural History Museum, London and a world expert on aphids. An Honorary Fellow and President of Royal Entomological Society (Vice President, 1989-1990, President 1999 – 2000)

His skills and expertise were in genetics, evolution, biodiversity & conservation. Roger Blackman has been listed as a noteworthy Biologist, researcher by Marquis Who’s Who. He contributed much to insect science and authored several books on aphidology.
