The RES is launching a books working group and we are looking for Members/Fellows of the Society to join this group.

The working group will report to the RES Publications Committee and will have a remit to consider all Society books outside of the RES Identification Handbooks series.

We are excited to expand our books publishing and the working group will advise on strategy in this area and consider proposals for new book projects.

The RES hugely values equity, diversity and inclusivity and the valuable input that our global membership brings.  We want the new committee to reflect all areas and backgrounds of our community.

We are particularly keen to hear from:

  • Members with experience writing books, either popular science or academic
  • Members with an interest in entomological education and textbooks
  • Members from all career stages – early career entomologists are encouraged to apply

Deadline 1  July

To apply, please send a short statement of why you are a good fit for the role and a short 2 page CV to Emilie Aimé Director of Publishing at
