The Royal Entomological Society (RES) is delighted to have been chosen as one of this autumn’s featured charities in the Yeokens scheme, run by Yeo Valley Organic.
Use Yeokens to raise money for good causes
Through Yeokens – Yeo Valley’s customer rewards scheme – members of the public can donate their Yeokens to the RES and directly support our work. Every three months, three charities are selected to donate to, and the charity with the most Yeokens receives £1,500, while the other two nominated charities each receive £1,000.
Insects make up around 90% of all animal species on Earth and account for more than half of all living things. They are vital for pollination, food security, and healthy ecosystems.
Yet, opportunities for children and young adults to learn about insects and pursue careers in entomology remain limited.

As a world-leading learned society, the Royal Entomological Society is dedicated to advancing the study of insects and supporting insect science worldwide. With your Yeokens donations we will be able to provide more opportunities for young people to discover and study insects, and become the next generation of insect experts.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who cares about nature and the environment to make a real difference.
We are delighted to be part of the Yeokens scheme, bringing the crucial work of our membership to new audiences while inspiring families and individuals to learn more about our charity.”
– Anne Weinhold, RES Head of Development and Projects
