This year, Ento26 will be a fully in-person event, bringing our community together face-to-face for discussion, networking and collaboration.
Ento26 is more than a conference: it’s where the entomological community comes together to share research, spark ideas, celebrate achievement – and enjoy a little friendly competition along the way!
Whether you’re presenting the latest updates in insect science, networking with peers, exploring new collaborations or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone at Ento26.
Important note: While the core conference programme will take place onsite, Ento26 will feature selected hybrid elements to ensure wider accessibility and involvement: The Society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be available to join online, posters will be viewable via our website and plenary talks will be recorded and shared via our YouTube channel after the event.
We look forward to welcoming delegates in person while still providing opportunities for members to engage with key moments of the conference.
Symposia & Workshops
Our symposia and workshops bring together leading researchers, early career scientists and specialists from across the insect science spectrum. Expect:
- Themed sessions exploring emerging research
- Applied entomology and real-world impact
- Cross-disciplinary discussions
- Practical workshops to develop skills and knowledge
These sessions provide a platform to exchange ideas, challenge thinking and strengthen collaborations across academia, industry and conservation.
Abstract Submission & Presenting Your Research
Ento26 is your opportunity to share your work with the entomological community. By submitting an abstract, you have the opportunity to:
- Present your research as a talk or poster
- Receive valuable feedback from peers and senior scientists
- Expand your professional network
- Raise your research profile
There will also be prizes for Best Talk and Best Poster presentation, as voted by your peers at the conference.
Whether you’re a student, early career researcher or established scientist, presenting at Ento26 is a chance to be seen, heard and recognised.
Deadline for submissions: 17:00 (London, UK Time), Friday 12 June
Plenary Speakers
We’re delighted to welcome an exciting line-up of Plenary Speakers.
The incredible work of the three scientists at the heart of Ento26 spans key areas of entomology and related disciplines. These invited talks will address high-impact topics that reflect the latest advances, current challenges and future directions in insect science.
Our plenary programme brings perspectives from across research, conservation, outreach and policy, offering insight, inspiration and motivation for everyone attending Ento26.
Activities Around the Conference
Ento26 wouldn’t be complete without its much-loved activities around the conference where science meets social. Get involved in the fringe events surrounding Ento26, with familiar activities including:
