Consultancy Lead (KTP)
Sam is Consultancy Lead for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between RES and Harper Adams University, responsible for the establishment of an entomological consultancy within the RES to provide professional insect consultancy services in agriculture, conservation, ecological assessment and land management.
Sam’s background is primarily in agriculture, in entomological research and farm advisory roles. A graduate of the MSc Entomology course at Harper Adam’s University, Sam has predominantly worked in the management of aphid vectored viruses in arable crops through improvements in monitoring, decision support, and alternative controls.
