We are delighted to confirm the dates for the RES Student Forum 2027, taking place at the University of Derby’s Kedleston Road Campus.
The Student Forum is a fantastic opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and aspiring entomologists to share their research, develop presentation skills, network with peers, and engage with the wider insect science community.
Keynote Speakers
We are pleased to announce that our first confirmed keynote speaker is Dr Kate Barnes, Senior Lecturer in Forensic Biology at the University of Derby.

What’s On at the Student Forum?
As always, attendees can look forward to our popular Student Forum Pub Quiz on the evening of Monday 22 March – a great chance to meet fellow delegates and test your entomological knowledge in a relaxed setting.
