The Royal Entomological Society frequently hosts and advertises UK and international events year-round for people of all stages of interest and career.

Taking place at the NEC Birmingham during our Insect Week 2022 event is the Big Bang Fair!
The Big Bang Fair is back for 2022! We’re so excited for you to join us at the UK’s biggest celebration of STEM for young people.
The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair is returning from Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 June 2022 at The NEC in Birmingham. The Fair is open to schools from 9.30am to 3.30pm to get stuck in, get inspired and get excited at the STEM event of the year.
Big Bang Fair – Exploring Insects & Entomology stand
The Big Bang Fair 2022 will be packed full of exciting, interactive activities and has been designed specifically with 11 to 14 year olds in mind, to provide the best careers inspiration, advice and opportunities to meet with real scientists and engineers.
Registrations for schools groups are now fully booked. If you still want to get stuck in at The Fair, but don’t have a ticket yet, you can join the waiting list to be notified of any upcoming availability.
Tickets remain for families, home educators and school groups to visit us at The Big Bang Fair Unlocked on Thursday 23 June 4pm to 8pm.
