Academic qualification is not a pre-requisite for Membership and applications are welcome from those who show that they have a genuine interest in entomology.

Council meet on the first Wednesday of March, May, June, October & December.

RES Membership Benefits

Full time Student Members enjoy a concessionary subscription rate. Once successfully admitted as a Member the suffix Mem.R.E.S. may be used (not applicable for student members).

Members may at any time apply for a Fellowship when they consider that they have attained the required standard.

Membership Application Process:

    Prepare Information:

    • Students should obtain a letter from their supervisor stating student status and studies end date.
  2. STEP 2 »
    Download, complete and submit using our application form. Download Form

    Send completed form either via email to sue@royensoc.co.uk or by mail to The Mansion House, Chiswell Green Lane, St Albans, AL2 3NS.

  3. STEP 3 »
    Application will be referred to a Committee of Council, at the next scheduled meeting, who then forward a recommendation to Council.

  4. STEP 4
    If admitted for Membership, we will contact you.
