Need some help accessing features of your membership?
There are lots of ways you can get involved in the Society through your membership. This page will advise you on how to register for events, get involved and read more about our Special Interest Groups and how to access our quarterly bulletin, Antenna magazine, available for members to read online. You can also opt in to receive free physical copies of Antenna magazine right to your door.
We also have a monthly Membership exclusive newsletter containing items dedicated to the inner workings of the Society and beneficial news items for our Members and Fellows. Click the link below to find out how to opt in to this benefit.
Want to receive physical copies of Antenna Magazine?
Antenna is the quarterly Bulletin of the Royal Entomological Society. You can opt in to receive a physical copy of the magazine through your membership account.
RES Members, Student Members, Fellows and Honorary Fellows have access to the latest volumes of Antenna magazine online before hardcopies hit their doormats. If you have not received a hard copy of Antenna, you have either paused or cancelled your membership, or you are likely not opted-in to receive them.
Visit my account – my profile and select ‘no’ to Go Paperless to ensure you receive physical copies of Antenna going forward. Here, you can also opt-in to our monthly Members Exclusive newsletter.
This is also a good opportunity to make sure your address is up to date and appears correctly to ensure you can receive your physical magazine.

Member-Exclusive Newsletter
Alongside our public newsletter, we produce monthly correspondence which includes exclusive news and updates for, and from, Members and Fellows of the Society, with discounts, products, reminders for events and more.
Log in to your membership account (visit my account – my profile) and select the tick box to opt in to our monthly newsletters.
I want more news on the Special Interest Groups
When signed in to your membership account (visit my account – my profile), select your interests from the tick boxes that follow and update your preferences.
Selecting your interests here will add you to the specific Special Interest Group mailing lists and keep you in-the-know of any news, updates and events related to your preferred content

Registering for meetings & conferences
We have many events throughout the year, including online-only and hybrid conferences to ensure you can join in from anywhere in the world. Members and Fellows of the Society get significant discounts and sometimes completely free access to our events.
To take advantage of discounted registration, log in to your membership account (visit my account – my profile) and navigate to the event page you wish to attend. Ticketing will be found at the bottom of each page. Click the plus ‘+’ icon next to the ticket type you wish to purchase and then select the ‘Get Tickets’ button. This will take you to the checkout where you can purchase your registration.
