We’re delighted to announce that the Royal Entomological Society has officially moved into a new building this autumn, which will give us our own dedicated home in central London.
This year, we have worked tirelessly with designers to transform an empty space into something that is right for us and reflects our mission to enrich the world with insect science, and as we settle into our new headquarters on Wenlock Road, London, we want you to be part of shaping how this exciting space is used now and in the years to come.
At the Royal Entomological Society, our Members and Fellows are at the heart of everything we do.
Your support has helped build a thriving community of insect scientists, educators, communicators and enthusiasts.
Now, as we begin a fresh chapter in a vibrant, accessible and welcoming hub, we want to hear from you about how you’d like to utilise the space.
Our New HQ – A Place for You
Our new headquarters is more than just an office and library space – it’s a dynamic hive built for connection, collaboration and curiosity:
- Prime Location: Conveniently situated close to major London transport stations including Old Street, Angel, King’s Cross, St. Pancras and Euston, yet set up inside to form a tranquil environment that supports focus, study and reflection.
- Inclusive and Accessible: The office spans three levels with open-plan working, informal meeting spaces and a fully accessible elevator to ensure everyone can make use of all facilities with ease.
- A Vibrant Hub: Designed as a hive of activity, the space is intended to support staff, volunteers and members alike – a place where people can meet, think, learn and collaborate.

- Our outstanding library and archive: imagine a bustling resource base where members and Fellows can study rare books, historical collections and cutting-edge entomology publications.
- Event and networking spaces: from specialist workshops and seminars to informal meetups and international collaborations.
